Permanent Full-time (average of 38 hours per week) Roster applies (eight days on, six days off), working across weekends and public holidays

Our LitterBusters team is focussed on keeping high visitation and publicly visible parts of our City pristine and welcoming, for residents and visitors alike. As one of our Sweeper Operators, you’ll pay a key part in keeping our public areas, roads, footpaths and car parks clean and tidy by assisting with the maintenance and drainage of roads and car parks in accordance with the sweeping programme.
Previous experience operating a road sweeper and a current ‘HR’ class driver’s licence are essential.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:
Previous sweeper operation experience
Developed verbal communication/customer service skills
Able to work in a team environment
Understanding of and commitment to safe working practices
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Current ‘HR’ class driver’s licence
Police clearance
We are offering a gross weekly wage of $1,576 which incorporates all allowances and penalty rates, as well as:
11% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
