Our client is an award winning, privately owned Australian owned business operating across multiple rural sites with significant size in North Australia. This business pride themselves on their service offer and focus on providing safe and hygienic environments.
About the role: Our client are looking for a System Admin level person who is able to assist on and resolve complex and non complex IT issues. Most of the focus of the position will be around L3 issues. Over the last several years they have made a transition from an on prem environment to a full public cloud set up in Azure.
Given the nature of the clients business there will be a requirement for you to travel (domestically) with this role. This would of course be fully paid for however could include up to one week per month working away from home. As the workplaces can be remote you will need to be comfortable flying or driving long distances to sites.
To be successful in this role you will need the below:
Based in Brisbane or are looking to relocate from interstate (must have an action plan in place)
Have a drivers license.
Great interpersonal skills as you will be working across a broad range of stakeholders.
Change management savvy
Worked as a System Admin for the last 3+ years.
VMware, back up tools
