System Administrator – Asset Management

$93,876.00 to $99,845.00 per annum

The Role
An exciting opportunity exists within our Corporate Services directorate for a System Administrator – Asset Management. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the ERP Asset Management Lifecycle Improvement project as a key member of the Project Management Team. In collaboration with the Core Platform provider (Technology One) the System Administrator will participate in the creation, maintenance and execution of procedures and standards for the Core Platform.
Essential
- C Class drivers licence
- Demonstrated experience working within systems administration databases, or network administration.
- Proven expertise and success working on large digital transformation programs from inception through to implementation in a fast moving and changing environment
- Understanding of IT Testing principles and process.
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to be persuasive in negotiating reasonable delivery timeframes.
- High degree of drive, initiative, motivation and outcome orientation, with the capacity to deal with multiple and often conflicting priorities.
- Well developed communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective internal/external relationships, practice open communication, conduct and facilitate presentations and prepare reports/submissions.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Officer Suite of Applications.
Desirable
- Demonstrated experience in a System Administrator role in the implementation or enhancement of ERP platforms in the following areas: Strategic Asset Management, Supply Change Management and Customer Request Management
- Previous experience working within Local Government systems, processes and data sets.
- Experience in developing and creating reports to meet process owner’s needs.
- Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT Operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocol.
