System Adminstrators

The Network are actively seeking multiple System Administrators to work on an exciting long term ICT Digital Connect Transition Program,

Long term contracts starting from 12 months initial with x2 12 month extension options.

Baseline Security Clearance is highly desirable

In this exciting opportunity you will be a pivotal part in contributing to the optismisation of ITSM processes and infrastructure within the Department and will be working in a fantastic developing team environment.

Skills and Experience we are looking for the role:

1. Proficiency in various aspects of IT infrastructure, including:

   • Operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, Unix, Wintel).
   • Networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
   • Server administration (e.g., Active Directory, Exchange Server, virtualisation platforms).
   • Database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
   • Security principles and best practices (e.g., firewalls, encryption, access control).
   • Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
2. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including non-technical Senior Managers.
3. Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business, technology, external suppliers and other subject-matter experts.

Desirable criteria

1. Relevant Certifications in:

   • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
   • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server
   • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
   • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
   • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
