The Opportunity
The role is responsible for the coordination of ingredient and recipe data in the Optiva database to support the launch and manufacture of safe, quality and compliant products.
The Accountabilities
- Manage the review and approval processes for new and existing ingredients.
- Manage the input and workflow of accurate recipe and specification data for compliance in the Optiva product system
- Coordination of change management processes to ensure adherence to business requirements.
- Technical systems support to R&D team and wider business.
The Ingredients for Success
Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or related discipline
- 5 years plus industry experience with experience in R&D – product development / specifications/ compliance
- Ability to work and plan independently and be proactive, strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong written and verbal communication and ability to build relationships
- Ability to manage multiple competing timelines and stakeholders
