An exciting opportunity now exists for a technically driven Systems Accountant to play an integral role in managing varied systems in this iconic business, with strong process improvement opportunities.Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Data Collection: Gather financial data from diverse sources and ensure reconciliation.
- Data Cleaning and Preparation: Clean, preprocess, and standardise data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Data Analysis: identify trends, patterns, and outliers in financial data to reconcile and resolve discrepancies.
- Data Management: Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and security measures.
- Financial Reporting: Generate customised reports for stakeholders using financial data.
- Systems Implementation: Assist in implementing financial software systems and configuring them to meet organisational needs.
- Systems Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance of the General Ledger and supporting systems.
- Process Improvement: Develop and document reconciliation processes, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement through technology.
