About the Position
We are seeking a Systems Administrator with a focus on Mobility & IoT to join our team to provide support for issues and tickets that are logged via the Service Desk.
The role is responsible for managing and monitoring customer requests within the ticketing system, as well as actively contributing to the development of internal processes, procedures and systems documentation.
In this role you will:
• Provide support for Network, UC, and Microsoft 365
• Troubleshoot and resolve client IT issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Ensure calls are transferred to the relevant IT department and/or technician and responses are communicated in a timely manner
• Ensure help desk tickets are updated and categorised in the appropriate fashion.
• Contribute to improved efficiency by voicing ways in which we can improve our serviced, support and processes
• Assist team members with shared workload during busy seasons
You will have:
• Sound computer literacy
• Experience within a Helpdesk ticketing system (highly regarded)
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to calmly manage difficult requests when needed.
• Ability to identify tasks proactively and demonstrate initiative in completing those tasks.
• The initiative to be a team player
• Good time management and the ability to demonstrate tasks by priority.
• Ability to learn quickly and embrace challenges
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
