Your responsibilities will include:

- Contribute to the deployment, configuration and management of Engineering Tools on virtual and physical servers and desktops
- Maintain compliance of application packages through patching of applications, operating systems and underlying infrastructure in accordance with ISM, Corporate Information Policy and best practice
- Work to ensure that events, incidents and problems are resolved ensuring uptime and optimum performance for associated Tools
- Perform all user management activities within selected tools
- Develop as an SME in the management of associated tools
- Contribute to the procurement and management of software licenses
- Continually strive to implement and improve team processes to streamline the management of associated software tools
- Participate and contribute to business continuity/disaster recovery planning, documentation, and testing
About you:
To be successful in securing this position, you will have:
- Experience in system administration of Engineering Tools
- Experience with Windows and Linux environments
- Experience with troubleshooting technical issues within ICT environments
- Experience managing tools in a Defence environment containing
- secure/sensitive data and/or export-controlled data (Desirable)
- Experience with PLM tools, such as Windchill (Desirable)
- Experience with Engineering Tools such as 3D Design software (Creo Parametric/SolidWorks), Electrical Design (Zuken) and Analysis (Ansys) - (Desirable)
- Experience with Software Scripting (Desirable)
- Experience working with Virtual Machines and Hypervisors - (Desirable)
Special Requirements:
Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-instatable Baseline with the view to obtain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
