The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a System Analyst reporting to the Portfolio Manager within Operational Technology. Our Operational Technology division is accountable for the end to end companywide IT strategy, services and support to APA. More specifically, this business unit is accountable for the IT, OT strategy, policies and frameworks, program & project Delivery, application management & support, infrastructure and support and IT/OT vendor management.
As a part of this team, you will be accountable for the process and tools, systems analysis, systems build, change management, implementation and rollout of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Business Units and convert Business requirements for System Requirements
- Work with Architects and Systems Designers in designing new systems / enhancing existing systems
- Analyse and define complex problems, evaluate alternatives, and provide solutions
- Develop initiation cost, time and resource estimates
- Supporting the implementation of initiation demand management
- Developing effective and proactive working relationships with internal customers
- Developing professional relationships with external customers
Your background
We are seeking a Systems Analyst with c. 3-5+ years of experience in engineering applications such as SCADA app support or system integration, integrated operations centre - control and monitoring, process information visualisation, data visualisation or facilities / asset engineering systems. In conjunction with the technical skills, we are seeking an individual who has demonstrated success in building relationships with key stakeholders and enjoys collaborating with a cross section of our organisation. Our people are at the core of what we do and we are seeking likeminded people-centric individuals who are passionate about building successful relationships.
The location for this role is flexible and hybrid; we will consider locations from any capital city. We will also consider job share arrangements.
