The Gamuda Australia Laing O’Rourke Consortium is seeking a highly skilled Systems Assurance Engineer to play a critical role in maintaining complex systems deliverables through to completions and handover phases.
About the role
Collaborate with cross-functional and delivery teams to maintain and develop comprehensive systems requirements databases using IBM DOORS ‘Classic’.
Maintain dashboards, metrics and reports for the requirements environment to support users and the reporting needs.
Coordinate the integration of various WTP civil components into cohesive assurance documents to ensure Handover functionality for follow on SMW Contracts and systems.
Maintain detailed technical (assurance) documentation, including system design evidence links, technical assurance Plans, and test plan / test reports references relevant to assurance Handover to follow on SMW Contracts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the delivery phase lifecycle. Monitor system requirements and raise related issues with the WTP Assurance Manager.
Your skills and experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or a related field.
Proven experience in construction, delivering systems engineering with a focus on transport infrastructure.
Experience with IBM DOORS (Classic) software and programming.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate as part of a supportive high-performing team.
Construction includes the delivery of 9 kilometres of twin, metro rail tunnels between Westmead and Sydney Olympic Park; excavation of new station boxes at Westmead and Parramatta; earthworks, utilities and connecting tunnels for a Maintenance and Stabling Facility at Clyde; a precast concrete segment factory at Eastern Creek; and a services facility, crossover structure and excavation to support tunnelling operations at Rosehill.
