Systems Engineer

As a Telstra Enterprise Partner for over 20 years, our business operations in Mobility and IT services are continuously growing and this new head count is a result of the growth trajectory the organisation is currently on. The role is a Hybrid role requiring your presence in the office at least twice a week and be available to attend customer sites occasionally.

About the Role

As part of the IT team, the role requires maintaining a core focus around the designing (including presales conversations with clients), Project / PS implementation delivery, and support of Networking and Microsoft Cloud based Infrastructure Solutions, such as Azure and MS365. The critical focus is to deliver outstanding service to customers by providing dedicated, focused and specialist levels of technical service in order to meet agreed objectives, support SLA’s and project delivery timelines. The role reports to the Head of IT.

Main Duties

• M365, Azure & Intune design, implementation and support
• Autopilot endpoint management
• App deployment and configuration policies
• Email/exchange support
• DNS Management
• Design, implementation and support of Network solutions for clients, including Cradlepoint 5G Routers and other networking routers and switches
• Create technical documentation and transition projects to BAU support
• Adhere to required processes including call logging, change control, information security and compliance practices/standards

About You

You will be what many in the industry may refer to as an IT all rounder and as a result we are looking for candidates that possess industry experience and understanding of MS Cloud based technologies, 5G networking, security, cloud services, end user compute, storage, backup and virtualization technologies. Any previous experience working in an MSP environment will be highly regarded as will your ability to manage multiple presales engagements, project implementations and supporting our client base.

• 5+ years working for an MSP supporting and/or implementing Microsoft Technologies, Networking, Wireless technology, firewalls and security
• Ability to design and implement infrastructure solutions across the M365 stack and 5G Networking solutions
• Demonstrated proficiency in switching and routing protocols
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and experience working with:
  • Cradlepoint 5G Routers
  • Cisco Meraki
  • Network switching
  • Wireless Technologies
