As the System Engineer, you will play a crucial role on overseeing the design, implementation, and management of systems infrastructure within the context of specific projects.

Description

As the System Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise in system design and implementation.
• Lead the planning, design, and deployment of systems infrastructure tailored to project needs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Develop project-specific Systems Engineering plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies related to systems integration within the project scope.
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify technical requirements, propose solutions, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with vendors and external partners as needed to procure necessary hardware, software, and services for project systems implementation.
• Monitor project systems performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize functionality and efficiency.
• Document project-specific system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Profile

The successful individual will ideally possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong understanding of DNS protocols, DNSSEC, and DNS-related security practice
• Experience with network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and related networking technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, infrastructure, and security best practices.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)..
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
