Systems Engineer

Critical Systems Engineering role available across a state of the art aerospace project that directly influences Defence capability

Tell me about this role:

We are currently looking for security cleared (NV1 or higher) Systems Engineers to join our team on a permanent basis. No two days are the same in these roles which is critical to the success of the project. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier.
These roles will see you take on a range of tasks including providing engineering support in design assurance of system level design artefacts including integration and T&E, of the Mission Systems and Support systems and maintaining Systems Engineering practices and procedures to support a major Defence platform.

What will I be doing day to day?

• Designing and conducting test activities
• Data management and analysis
• Work with a wide range of stakeholders and build meaningful and lasting professional relationships
• Managing engineering documentation including review and edits
• Providing expert engineering inputs into cutting edge technology

What sort of skills do I need?

• Bachelors degree in Engineering equivalent suitable for membership of Engineers Australia
• Demonstrated experience in a Defence environment
• Experience in Systems Engineering, Validation and Verification, Test and Integration, RF Engineering.
• Demonstrate expert understanding of engineering methods, design, and development
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Hold a NV1 security clearance
