In this role, you'll:
Take on an important position within Sydney Trains as this role is accountable for allocated engineering works associated with the ongoing development of Sydney Trains’ Operation-Critical Wireless Systems.
Perform system engineering activities and provide engineering designs while being a subject matter expert on associated technical services.
Have a varied day that includes reviewing documents, liaising with maintenance engineers and project managers, dealing with external service providers, design reporting, design engineering, SIM provisioning, and more.
This is a 6-month role within a strong team, taking on a position that has a positive impact on the network and the broader community that depends on it daily.

About You
You’re someone who has demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, and deployment of wireless system technologies across the project lifecycle. Ideally, you would have done so within a complex environment, and you combine this experience with working knowledge in practical design application, and current or emerging operation-critical wireless communications systems technologies.
In addition to the above a relevant qualification is required (Bachelor Degree or higher) in Electrical Engineering (or Engineering majoring in Telecommunications, Computer Systems, Software and Mechatronics). You’ll combine this with developed skills in communication and collaboration.
