About the role
Queensland Rail is seeking a skilled Systems Integration Manager to lead our Systems Integration team in Brisbane for the Queensland Train Manufacturing Project. In this role, you will oversee the integration of train-to-shore data via a business-to-business gateway and associated transactions across our network, ensuring seamless operation and alignment with organisational goals.Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Lead and mentor a team of three, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of systems to support train-to-shore information and integration.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external 3rd parties to define business requirements and interface control documents to support project scope.
  • Develop and implement system integration strategies to streamline processes and optimise system performance.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system integration processes and procedures.
About you
  • Proven experience in Systems Integration management, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate with external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of rail operations, relevant regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
