About the Role
We are seeking an Systems & Network Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading and managing IT infrastructure, networks, technical security systems, and related software. This role is fundamental to ensuring the reliable delivery of services that underpin the Group’s operations and corporate functions. As an experienced, resourceful individual who thrives on technical challenges, you will have a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a dynamic environment. This role is based out of our Adelaide or Kingsford, SA offices depending on your preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain all IT infrastructure, networks, and security systems.
- Design cost-effective technical solutions that meet business requirements.
- Provide day to day technical support for all IT infrastructure, networks, and security systems.
- Manage and maintain backup and recovery systems and procedures.
- Identify emerging technologies and approaches that will improve key systems and networks.
- Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate cyber security controls, processes and procedures.
- Mentor and support team members.
- Lead and deliver IT infrastructure projects as required.
Skills and Experience
- Substantial experience as a Systems Administrator within a medium/large sized organisation.
- Substantial experience with Microsoft infrastructure technologies including Office 365.
- Substantial experience with managing both physical and virtual server environments.
- Experience with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
- Experience with network management and administration.
- Experience with firewalls and Virtual Private Network clients and servers.
- Experience with endpoint protection systems, email protection systems, and other security systems.
- Experience supporting and managing databases would be desirable.
- Knowledge of best practices relating to managing and monitoring server infrastructure.
- Excellent time management, organising, and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
