The Position:
The Talent Acquisition Advisor position is responsible for the provision recruitment activities that enable the company to meet workforce needs. Partnering with stakeholders the successful individual will be a key point of contact internally and externally, ensuring an excellent candidate experience and transparency within the business through reporting and up-to-date communications.
This role is responsible for:
Relationships - Partnering with the business
  • Build understanding of the business unit's key drivers/issues and vacant roles/ team specifics.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of trust with the stakeholders.
Talent Acquisition
  • Proactively assess and attract talent to build a mobile, competent and flexible workforce aligned with organisation objectives and legislative/regulatory requirements
  • Support the Manager and HR team to provide analysis of resourcing, recruitment market trends, candidate screening and selection, vendor (external agency) management, reporting and / or other recruitment activities.
Organisational Culture
  • Advise candidates on CEA workforce, practices, culture and engagement including workplace values, policies, expected behaviours and potential career pathways.
  • Some support across other HR Relationship areas may be available/ required.
Employee Services
  • Respond in an appropriate and timely manner to queries and provide relevant information, explanation and advice to managers and employees.
  • Comply with organisational procedure, policies and legislative/regulatory requirements.
Essential
  • Recent hands on experience in a similar role; delivering customer focused human resources services to optimise the employment experience at an individual and organisational level
  • An exceptional communicator with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes
  • A consultative approach, solutions driven and collaborative with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to provide HR support services covering specific areas of recruitment including candidate screening, selection, interviewing, contract negotiation and due diligence
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with organisational procedures, policies and legislative/regulatory requirements
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with business stakeholders
  • Build an understanding of the business unit's key drivers, talent attraction challenges and opportunities
  • Internal recruitment experience in defence, advanced manufacturing or technical industry
Eligibility
To be eligible for this position you must be:
  • An Australian Citizen
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance (Baseline/NV1)
The successful candidate MUST be able to obtain clearance prior to commencement
