Halcyon Knights is recruiting for Talent Partners / Talent Acquisition Specialists for its state government clients based in Adelaide CBD.
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment process for domestic/overseas candidates based in the Australia UK, New Zealand and Ireland. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and government agencies to identify, attract, and onboard qualified individuals who possess the skills and attributes needed to excel in policing roles. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in recruitment, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidates will be required to work hours corresponding with the time zones of the United Kingdom, Ireland, and New Zealand to effectively engage with candidates and stakeholders in these regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for international candidates, from sourcing and screening to onboarding and integration.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates from target regions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with overseas recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and other relevant partners.
- Coordinate assessment centers, interviews, and selection processes in collaboration with SAPOL's HR team and operational units.
- Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment journey, including visa and relocation assistance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures governing international recruitment and employment.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reports and updates to senior management on program performance and outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements to the recruitment program.
- Arrange logistics including but not limited to travel coordination, accommodation, and orientation sessions.
- Proven experience in recruitment / Talent Acquisition.
- Experience in international or cross-border recruitment programs (Desireable)
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, techniques, and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Familiarity with immigration and visa processes, particularly in the context of recruiting foreign nationals.
- Understanding of cultural sensitivities and awareness of global recruitment trends.
- Can pass a police clearence
