About the Role:

Our Workforce Attraction project team is looking for a talented talent attraction professional who shares our passion and commitment to promoting a diverse and exciting range of career options in the dairy industry by embracing opportunities to work closely with our dairy regions and community partners in the education sector, culturally diverse communities, regional recruitment service providers, and most importantly job seekers and farmers to support people to successfully transition into farm roles.

In this fixed-termproject role until end of September 2024 and reporting to the National People Lead, you will work collaboratively with a number of regional networks to assist in delivering on our workforce attraction strategy.You thrive on building relationships, networks and links within communities that promote attraction and retention and expand knowledge and understanding of employment opportunities within the dairy Industry.

Here are some examples of where you will make an impact:

  • Enable the effective transition of candidates becoming interested in the dairy industry as a viable job or career opportunity, through to conversion to on farm employment
  • Establish effective and sustainable networks and regional partnerships with specific dairy region communities that promote opportunities, information, and promotion of programs available to relevant jobseeker networks
  • Assist in the development of workforce attraction services in specific regions where gaps are identified
  • Coordinate and implement services, plans and activities to ensure regional workforce attraction delivery activities result in successful recruitment on farm
  • Collaborate on the development of systems, planning delivery evaluation and reporting of national workforce attraction initiatives

About you:

  • You have experience and demonstrated success in a developing internal recruitment role
  • You are degree qualified in business, human resources, or related field
  • You have a positive mindset, and have a reputation for building great relationships with the people you work with
  • You have a strong service ethic and are motivated by providing outstanding service
  • You have the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team setting in both on-site and remote working environments
