As the Talent Management Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the Talent Management team in ensuring each candidate receives an outstanding experience as they progress through their application to join the ADF.

Job Description

Reporting to the Team Leader- Talent Management, you will be responsible for assisting the Talent Management team with all administrative tasks. You will also play an important role in impacting a positive candidate experience by serving through all phases of the hiring cycle.

You will:

  • Contribute to the delivery of a candidate first, high performing culture
  • Communicate effectively and clearly with Talent Management team members via all communication means used and available
  • Work across multiple platforms, whilst actively listening and maintaining accurate and thorough journal notes
  • Maintain thorough records of candidate interactions, conversations, outcomes and actions in the required and expected location
  • Respond to recruiting related inquiries from internal or external candidates on a variety of topics such as application status, recruiting process or scheduling related questions.
  • Attend team meetings/stand ups when required and provide updates on progress as required
  • Drive efforts towards an exceptional standard of work, achieving established KPIs
  • Work collaboratively and effectively within the Talent Management team
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve results and provide the best possible outcome for the candidate
  • Contribute to a culture of honesty, openness and collaboration
  • Develop, manage and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the DFR Adecco contract

Candidate’s Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working in administrative support and candidate coordination.

Bachelors’ degree or tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field is desirable.

Your background will demonstrate:

  • Experience in a high volume, fast paced work environment.
  • Exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing high-quality results.
  • Problem-solving and results-focused professional.
  • Flexible and driven to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and prioritize them appropriately.
  • Demonstrates cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Well-organised, attentive to details and follows through on assigned tasks and commitments.
  • Team player and relationship builder with a demonstrated willingness to help with other projects as needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong Outlook skills preferred.
