Job Description- 6-month maximum term contract opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Tax Analyst to join the NRMA Corporate Finance team on a 6 month maximum term contract basis. Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will support the team in meeting tax compliances. Specifically, you will be required to:
- Preparation of FBT Returns including extracting data from Oracle, liaising with business units to collect and collate data and liaising with external advisers on the review of the returns
- Preparation of tax effect accounting “unders/overs” calculations for the FY23 corporate tax filings including detailed work papers
- Perform analysis of fixed assets from a tax perspective and ensure complete and accurate tax fixed asset registers
- Provide ad hoc support to the Tax Analyst and Tax Manager on an “as needs” basis.
This position will be based from our Sydney Olympic Park and/or Sydney CBD offices with the opportunity to work from home, as required and agreed for the role.
What You'll Bring
- Commerce degree or equivalent
- At least 4 years' experience in a professional services firm and/or corporate tax function across FBT, income tax and tax accounting
- Proficient in tax effect accounting and strong excel skills
- Hands on approach to understanding and navigating systems to collate data for tax analysis
- Knowledge of business accounting principles
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently
