The Client
This progressive and growing firm based in Sydney have a small team of approximately 30 staff and is part of an international group of companies. With a small firm personality, they still have interesting and diverse clients and provide opportunities to grow a career in a variety of fields.
The Role
As a Tax Manager/Senior Tax Manager, you will look after their highly regarded clients in an advisory focused position. Manage, lead and drive the tax team to further success and bring your knowledge and expertise to the team. This is a varied role where you get exposure to clients in different industries where you focus on advising them in relation to business operations and regulatory matters.
Some of the duties
- CGT (such as the small business CGT concessions)
- Structuring and restructuring of businesses and investments
- Business acquisitions and disposals
- Property transactions
- Division 7A
- Taxation of trusts
- Tax planning and tax risk management
The Applicant
- 8+ years’ relevant experience (tax and accounting advisory)
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related fields
- CA/CPA qualification (or in the process of attaining)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- The willingness to do a Master of Tax or the CTA
- Excellent attention to detail as well as presentation and communication skills
