A leading government department is seeking a Tax Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This 3-month temporary assignment will commence early March 2024 and will be based in their Brisbane CBD offices.
Your new role:
Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing income tax returns
- Assisting with audits and reviews
- Providing advice to key stakeholders
- Various other duties as directed
What you’ll need to succeed:
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Experience in Accounting with a strong understanding of tax
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
