The role
An exceptional opportunity awaits an experienced Practice Administrator. Join a top-tier Australian law firm with a permanent, full-time role based in Brisbane. Working as part of a dynamic and supportive team, you will provide pivotal support at a high level to our Tax Partners and the wider team. As an integral part of the team, this role has a specific focus on supporting and managing high-level administrative responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support
- High-level diary management with an emphasis on organising client meetings, including a proactive approach to reorganising commitments on a needs basis
- Manage general accounts, monthly billing, client reporting, and expenses with a keen eye for detail
- File management and handling including opening and closing files and matters
- Managing incoming correspondence, emails and internal and external requests, as well as providing a proactive and efficient approach to producing correspondence without direction
- Undertaking conflict searches on firm data base, preparing conflict emails
- Be willing to step in and assist other Tax team members during busy periods where required
Skills & Experience
To excel in this role, we are seeking a candidate with;
- Proven and distinguished experience in an administrative and/or secretarial role
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, especially in high-pressure situations
- A flexible and proactive approach with a demonstrable drive to contribute to the business's profound success
- The ability to build and nurture positive relationships with colleagues and clients
- Advanced technical skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Professionalism in communicating / organising meetings with high-level internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in billing processes, with previous experience using Aderant Expert software desirable
