THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: 0.8 EFT.
Location: Chadstone campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Contract of employment until 31/12/2024.
The Department of Applied Building Technology provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links.
The department is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively design and teach residential and commercial theoretical and practical sessions to students undertaking Cert IV and Diploma of Building and Construction.

ABOUT YOU
- Extensive experience in residential and/or commercial building and construction.
- Proven proficiency in innovative course design and development in the context of flexible learning environments.
- Ability to convey knowledge, appropriate to a diverse student population through the selection and use of a wide range of teaching and assessment strategies.
- Effectively plan, schedule and meet agreed timelines for the completion of allocated tasks.
- Work autonomously and/or coordinate work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
- An approved degree or diploma in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed; and
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40122) or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
