We would like to hear from applicants who:
- Have a broad range of current industry experience; and
- Specialise in one or more of the following areas:
- Light Vehicle Automotive Mechanical
- Heavy Commercial Vehicles
Mandatory Requirements
- possession of one or more relevant formal vocational qualifications
- AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology; and/or
- AUR31116 Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology; and/or
- demonstrate a broad range of current industry skills and experience, and willingness/ability to obtain the qualification.
To become a TAFE Queensland teacher you must hold one of the following qualifications:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus:
- TAELLN411* or TAELLN401A*; and
- TAEASS5028 or TAEASS502A* or TAEASS502B*; or
- TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or
- TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or
- TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development; or
- TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development or its successor; or
- Higher-level qualification in adult education.
OR
One of the following training and assessment credentials
- TAESS00007 Enterprise Trainer - Presenting Skill Set; or
- TAESS00014 Enterprise Trainer - Presenting Skill Set or its successor; or
- TAESS00008 Enterprise Trainer - Mentoring Skill Set; or
- TAESS00013 Enterprise Trainer - Mentoring Skill Set or its successor; or
- TAESS00003 Enterprise Trainer and Assessor Skill Set; or
- TAESS00015 Enterprise Trainer and Assessor Skill Set or its successor.
*For those holding a TAE40110 these two additional units are required to be obtained to meet compliance requirements.
Salary
$86,564.26 - $97,991.36 gross per annum (TAFE Queensland Educators Certified Agreement 2023)
