SuniTAFE is an award winning large provider of vocational education and training in north-west Victoria.
We are well positioned, with our campuses located in Mildura and Swan Hill, to orchestrate the continued delivery of excellent education and training in this region. We have experienced trainers, teachers and community providers offering qualification across a range of courses and customised skill set training covering multiple sectors relevant to the community and stakeholders.
The position will be located at the Mildura campus. Under supervision, the appointee will be required to contribute to planning, marketing, teaching and assessing Conservation and Ecosystem qualifications which may range from Certificate I through to Diploma level. The appointee will work closely with the Education Delivery Manager – Koorie Programs and Youth Education colleagues to ensure these programs are structured around client demand in Mildura and the surrounding regions.
As required the incumbent will be required to teach online, face-to-face or a combination of both delivery modes (blended delivery).
Applicants will need to have:
• Relevant Industry Qualification, a minimum of three years professional industry experience and current Certificate IV TAE40116 or TAE40122 are essential to this position
• Successful Working with Children Check and Criminal Record check is mandatory.
• Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse learner population are required.
• Well-developed skills in teaching including the ability deal with tight timelines and conflicting demands.
• Commitment to deliver high quality programs across a range of qualification levels.
The successful candidate will be required to provide:
• A successful criminal record check which is less than 6 months old; and
• A working with children check
