Teacher - Diverse Learning

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our Diverse Learning Team with a comprehensive understanding of providing exceptional learning support for students, particularly those with identified learning needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• assisting with the identification of learning needs through collaborative engagement with teachers
• supporting academic staff in developing appropriate strategies to suit students' individual learning needs
• utilising effective strategies to support students in class, in small groups, and individually
• monitoring student outcomes and providing feedback to relevant academic staff
• active involvement in the academic, student wellbeing, co-curricular programs, as they are pivotal to the holistic development of each student.

Keys Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• relevant teaching qualifications and experience
• knowledge of processes relating to the Diverse Learning needs of students, including disability issues, verification, NCCD, individual programming, diagnostic testing and data collection
• extensive knowledge of teaching strategies to achieve optimal learning outcomes for students 
• excellent technological literacy
• the ability to work collaboratievely and energetically within a high-performing school culture
• current Queensland College of Teachers registration (or eligibility to apply).
