Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College, Tumbi Umbi Campus has an enrolment of 1033 students, with 152 students identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. It is a dynamic and inclusive middle years campus. We work constructively with nine partner schools delivering quality education to the local community from Preschool to Year 12 and beyond. Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College, Tumbi Umbi Campus provides innovative and inclusive programs that engage learners in age and stage appropriate experiences, designed to extend their aspirations. Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach Mathematics 7-10. Willingness to teach Science and Sports Coaching.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and to collaborate with faculty colleagues, developing and delivering high quality, differentiated teaching and learning, programs and assessment activities.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilise data and manage learning to promote student growth.
- Well-developed organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with the whole school community.
- Ability to work collaboratively with school teams to develop and implement whole-school numeracy programs to meet the diverse needs of students.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
