About the role:
TAFE Gippsland is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Mental Health & AOD professional to take on the role of Teacher Mental Health & AOD to deliver the Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs based at our Traralgon Campus. In the role of Teacher Mental Health & AOD you will be responsible for developing up to date industry course materials, delivering high quality training and assessment, and handling educational administration tasks. Your responsibilities will also include offering support and guidance to students, ensuring they gain the necessary skills and knowledge for a successful career in the Mental Health & AOD field.
Mandatory requirements:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or equivalent or willingness to obtain if you are successful in obtaining the role
- Appropriate industry qualification
- Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
- Current Police check (no older than 12 months)
- Current COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Current Driver’s Licence
