This is a wonderful opportunity to share your education knowledge and expertise, support our students' skills and development and make a real difference.As a key member of the teaching and delivery team, you will contribute to developing and delivering quality learning services to a wide range of clients through:Outcome focused vocational education and training (VET) programs;Linking with industry, schools, universities, other TAFE and VET providers;Maintaining currency with industry practices, workplace delivery and contemporary teaching methodologies and philosophies;Working in an environment of change and continuous improvement; andMaking Great Happen!TAFE Queensland regularly has vacancies (short and long term) for educators in various qualification delivery areas. This Talent Pool may be open for up to 4 months and is for opportunities as they become available.Mandatory Qualifications/Requirementsa. Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed (or equivalent); across a range of Automotive, Engineering, Building and Industry areas including:Automotive (Light, Heavy Commercial, Diesel and Electric Vehicle)Engineering (Metal Fabrication, Mechanical)Manufacturing and Applied TechnologiesBuilding (Plumbing, Carpentry, Furnishing)Utilities (Electrotechnology and Refrigeration)Civil (Construction and Road)b. Possession of one of the following training and assessment credentials: TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools;TAE50111 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training;TAE50116 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or its successor;TAE50211 - Diploma of Training Design and Development;TAE50216 - Diploma of Training Design and Development, or its successor;Higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland).c. Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;d. Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;e.
