The Role
The Team Lead (Civil), reporting to the Assistant Service Delivery Lead (Civil), will work collaboratively with the Asset Maintenance team to successfully plan and coordinate efficient and effective construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure and other municipal works.
Work will be performed on assets including but not limited to –
- Sealed Roads, Road Maintenance Performance Contract (RMPC), Concrete Works
- Bridges
- Road pavements, their surfaces and associated infrastructure
- Stormwater drainage systems
All such works will conform to plans, specifications and/or instructions provided by the Service Delivery Lead (Civil) or Assistant Service Delivery Lead (Civil).
About You
You will have trade/industry qualifications and/or extensive experience in civil infrastructure construction or maintenance, as well as a demonstrated ability to supervise and support teams. You will have a knowledge of work, health and safety legislative requirements and have the ability to maintain a high level of quality assurance in all works performed.
Additionally, you will be able to perform basic numerical calculations, read, interpret and understand basic engineering design and standard drawings.
