About this position
We are currently seeking two motivated and enthusiastic Team Leaders to join our customer focused Leisure World aquatic team. As Team Leader Aquatics, you will be providing assistance and support to the Supervisor Centre Operations to ensure the effective delivery of aquatic services at Leisure World.
You will also be responsible for opening and closing the Centre, and maintaining set operational procedures within the Centre, including those relating to plant and equipment.
What we are looking for
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in pool operations
- Experience delivering programs and services in an aquatic/leisure facility
- Proven ability to lead by example
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Availability to work weekends, early morning or evening shifts as per roster
Essential requirements
- Pool Operator qualification
- Pool Lifeguard qualification
- Senior First Aid certificate
- BA (Breathing Apparatus) qualification
- LIWA Member Accreditation
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Police Clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential when you apply for the role but may be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
