The MacDonnell region is located in the centre of Australia. Covering 270,000sq km and with an estimated population approaching 7,000, it has a unique beauty with picturesque water holes, magnificent flora and fauna, red desert sands and rugged mountain ranges.
This position is a full time role as a fixed contract until June 2025 (with the possibility of extension).
As the Team Leader - Children's Services, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the childcare service while acting as the nominated supervisor providing and developing a high quality, culturally relevant Early Childhood Education for children aged from birth to school age.
Our successful candidate will ideally hold a Certificate III level qualification in Early Childhood or higher qualification and, at least 1 year experience working with the National Quality Standards. Experience working in a culturally and linguistically diverse environment is desirable. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative approach to decision making, the ability to lead, motivate and mentor team members to foster independence while having a strong commitment to Two-Way learning.
