Position Title: Team Leader Design Development
Position Number: POS1801
In this permanent full-time position, we are looking for someone who demonstrates, through behaviour, an alignment and an understanding of our values and has the following skills:

- Experience in, or ability to demonstrate aptitude for, leading a team
- Ability to apply critical thinking and reasoning, and respectfully challenge people and ideas.
- Ability to foster a safe working environment and manage team deliverables.
The areas of key responsibility are:
- Take a lead role in the design documentation of City of Launceston's construction projects from feasibility stage through to final design (experience in 3D civil design modelling would be viewed favourably);
- Project cost estimating;
- Review Community & Stakeholder Engagement plans and implementation strategies;
- Co-ordinate Surveying tasks, aerial mapping and investigations in conjunction with the senior surveyor;
- Develop "safety in design" reports and risk mitigation.
