What you’ll do:
As a Team Leader in Emergency Management Projects, you'll lead, coach, and influence your team to deliver exceptional results. You will identify and pursue sales opportunities, maintain client relationships, and ensure the safety and well-being of your team. Your responsibilities will include:
Complying with role-specific SHEQ obligations.
Fostering a strong safety culture within the team.
Building and maintaining a culture of teamwork, innovation, and passion.
Providing peer review, coaching, and mentoring for ongoing professional development.
Implementing professional development plans for direct reports.
Developing business development capabilities and contributing to market action plans.
Preparing proposals and managing projects to meet budget and strategic goals.
Ensuring staff are trained in WSP HSE and technical requirements.
Managing client feedback and achieving monthly targets.
About you:
Advanced competence in assessing emergency preparedness risk and compliance of organisations against AS2345:2010, AS4083:2010 and WHS/OHS regulation 43. Including all state and local government legislation and bylaws.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Science, Applied Science, Environmental Engineering, Building Surveying, or Occupational Health and Safety (highly desirable).
Industry experience in Emergency Management, disaster response, or emergency preparedness (highly desirable).
Consulting environment experience (desirable).
Working knowledge of managing risk on projects.
Experience in writing winning proposals and leading pursuits.
Experience in all aspects of business development.
Balances innovation, quality, and technical excellence with delivery to timelines and budget.
