This role leads the Family Mental Health Support Service team in providing early intervention to assist vulnerable families with children, and young families who are at risk of or affected by, mental illness.
As the Team Leader, you will:
- Facilitate positive family connections and coach parents
- Deliver evidence-based programs to improve the wellbeing of children and young people
- Provide direction, coaching and training to the team
- Supervise and mentor the team to achieve Key Performance Indicators
- Compile relevant, internal and external, reporting
- Promote IMPACT's service and community and awareness of Mental Health issues
To enjoy this role, you will have:
- Relevant life experience and/or understanding of the issues facing children and young people with a Mental Health concern
- Knowledge and skills to engage and guide children, young people and families
- Sound knowledge of local Support Services and the ability to engage in community networking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- A Certificate IV in Community Services or similar qualification is desirable
