Join our team as a dynamic Team Leader – Fitting and Machining. With a keen understanding of work priorities, you'll be the driving force behind achieving targets. Motivating your team, fostering cooperation, and resolving production issues are all in a day's work. You'll ensure clear communication with coordinators and managers, monitor progress against plans, and take action when needed. Quality work, efficiency, and timely completion are your hallmarks. With your leadership, our facilities, equipment, and environment will be top-notch, and safety will always be a priority.
The successful candidate will have:
NLCS/SMC Certification qualifications or willing to obtain this qualification
Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead a team to achieve production objectives
Production Examiners stamp in applicable trade
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet Corporate and Divisional/Departmental Service Standards
Ability to comply with Corporate Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities Standard
Experience or qualifications in Leadership and/or OH&S
PC literacy with ability to use standard desktop software and company systems
Basic knowledge of business operations and cost control
Extensive experience in aircraft heavy maintenance
Interest and ability to carry out higher duties
Knowledge of Solid Works & Solid Cam including 5 axis programming
Experience with Fanuc Controls (Lathe & Mill)
