The Role
You will lead an energetic and passionate team of ambassadors within GHM. As the Team Leader in Guest Relations you will directly oversee our Concierge and Guest Experience teams who assist our guests at all stages pre-arrival, on stay and after departure. Guest Relations is tasked with providing a unique and elevated experience to all our guests, and you will enhance this while seeking opportunities to support and coach the teams you interact with on how to deliver signature experiences on a consistent basis, in a unique way. As an excellent communicator you will work hand in hand with the wider Guest Relations and Hotel teams to provide an unparalleled experience for your guests and team.
Day to Day
- Oversee the operations of the Concierge and Guest Experience teams
- Conducting or overseeing VIP guest welcomes, rooms inspections and special set ups
- High level communications with key internal and external stakeholders
- Team management, leave planning and rostering
- Help to lead the Guest Relations team to deliver unique signature experiences
- Assist guest with special events and celebrations within the hotel
- To handle guest enquires and to be familiar with Melbourne and its surrounding areas.
- Ability to coordinate and assign tasks to respective team members to be completed in a timely manner
- Assist with the day to day administration of the Guest Relations team
What we are looking for?
- Outgoing, vibrant and bubbly personality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer and MS Office skills required
- Experience in a similar role or environment preferred
- Strong Opera knowledge required
- You will be meeting and greeting our Guests whilst standing all day long so you should be able to tolerate large amounts of standing.
