- Full-time; continuing
- Based at the Cairns Nguma-bada campus, Smithfield
- HEWL 7 $94,374 to $104,359 (1/7/24) per annum plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions.
WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH IN THE ROLE
Lead and develop a team to deliver high quality and efficient teaching support for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs.
Provide technical and logistical advice in planning and organising undergraduate Marine and Terrestrial field trips.
KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
To ensure success in this position, you will have demonstrated staff management experience with the ability to show leadership and oversee the delivery of quality performance outcomes.
Laboratory and field work experience, preferably in a teaching environment, and significant understanding of WH&S legislation and application are also skills inherent to the success of this position.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
It is a requirement of this positionto hold the following:
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Current C and MR Queenslanddriver’s license. (QLD); and
- Current Working with Children Blue Card.
