We are actively sourcing an experienced Technical Support Officer (TSO) Team Leader to join our Technical Support Team in St Vincent's Health Australia. Reporting to the Desktop Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading your team to provide high quality onsite and remote technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues relating to computer systems, networking, software and hardware.
You will be a natural born leader who holds proven skills in end user Technical Support or a similar technical background. You will lead by example to deliver level 2 desktop support services for our 17 sites across Queensland, working with the team and our colleagues to maintain service levels, roster regular site visits, coordinate workload and provide regular development and coaching.
This position is Permanent Full Time and will be based in our Brisbane Group Office, while working across our Hospitals and Aged Care facilities where required. You will also be required to take part in the after-hours on-call roster.
Things that work for us:
- Ability to lead, guide and support on multiple priorities simultaneously and seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail in a high pressure environment
- Customer service focused, exceptional attention to detail and a very good phone manner
- Certificate IV in Information Technology Support or equivalent
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and documentation skills
- Proven experience as a leader or mentor of a technical team and demonstrated skills in team management and coordination
- Advanced proficiency and capability of current Microsoft technologies (server, desktop, applications)
- Network troubleshooting, PC hardware and peripherals knowledge and skills
- Current 2023 Flu Vaccine or willingness to receive the 2024 Flu Vaccine and a minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations - mandatory
