A bit about the role

As part of a talented leadership team, lead Council’s kindergarten partnerships with Early Years Managers including procurement, leases, service level agreements, site transition processes, and service coordination.

What you’ll deliver

• Develop partnerships with Early Years Managers and stakeholders to support quality outcomes for children and young people within the City of Casey.  
• Actively lead the procurement and transition process of kindergarten sites.
• Provide strategic advice including in relation to procurement, leases, service level agreements, site transition processes, and service coordination.
• Support efficient, high quality kindergarten service provision across Early Year Managers.

What you’ll bring

• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, promoting a positive culture.
• Substantial experience in partnership management including contract, procurement and project management.
• Experience in social planning, data analysis, or business analysis.
• Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including complex and political stakeholder management.
• Person centred change management experience.
• An understanding of the kindergarten legislative environment including the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, Child Safe Standards and National Law and Regulations is highly desirable.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History, Working with Children, Victorian Driver’s Licence.
• A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
