About the opportunity
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the Early Years education sector in Cardinia Shire. As the Team Leader Early Years Operations, you will have the opportunity to oversee the Kindergarten Central Registration Scheme and the day to day operations of Councils facilities that include the provision of Early Years services. This role will contribute to the current and future direction of the Early Years team and broader business unit.
You will make an impact by
- Undertaking planning, research, and project work to ensure capacity needs for kindergarten and other related Early Years services are met.
- Engaging with stakeholders to support the delivery of quality Early Years outcomes.
- Preparing and reviewing relevant documentation for the Department of Education in a timely and consistent manner.
- Overseeing the coordination of the kindergarten registration application, allocation, and placement processes.
- Reviewing, developing, and implementing effective systems for user bookings and frameworks for fees and charges.
- Playing a key role in contributing to service planning requirements for three-year-old and four-year-old kindergarten in Cardinia.
- Overseeing invoicing, refunds, bonds, and follow up of unpaid debts.
What you will bring
- Proven detailed knowledge of early childhood education regulations, frameworks, and policy agenda.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders to support the delivery of quality Early Years outcomes.
- Experience in overseeing maintenance requests, project applications and works requests as they relate to Child and Family sites and kindergartens.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing relevant documentation for the Department of Education Council, and other key stakeholders, including reports, statistics, and other local data.
- Ability to provide direct supervision to staff and oversee performance
- Current Victorian Drivers License
