Lady Gowrie Tasmania has an exciting opportunity available for a Part Time Team Leader in our OSHC services based in West Launceston. As a Team Leader with experience in Early Education and leading a team. Lady Gowrie is a non-for-profit community-based organisation providing Early Education and Care to children.
As Team Leader you will be:
- Interact with and supervise children between 4 to 12 years of age
- Lead and mentor your team
- Develop, plan and implement curriculum with your team in line with the Children's interests
- Foster a fun, inviting and clean environment for Children and your team
- Inducting new employees into your service and keeping your team up to date with current policies and procedures
ABOUT YOU:
This is the perfect role for you if you have the following:
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
- Experience as a Team Leader in Early Education (preferred) or several years of experience in Early Education and Care
- Have an in depth understanding of the National Quality Framework, which includes National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), and the My Time Our Place (MTOP)
- Have excellent communication and organisation skills
- Hold a current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Child Related Activity) for an Employee
- A recent Police Check
