Cogent Business Solutions is an established Personnel Security Vetting organisation; we have been in business for 20+ years and are a trusted provider of services to the Commonwealth. We have best practice processes in Personnel Security Vetting.
Our business is growing; as such we have created additional roles to help build and provide the right support to our Vetting Analysts. We are looking for experienced Vetting Analysts or Team Leaders to join our Leadership Team. In this role you will oversee and provide direction to a team of Vetting Analysts.
Day to day your role will be varied; but underpinned by the Commonwealth's requirements and guidelines. Ideally you will be an experienced Vetting Analyst who want to progress their career further.
The role will be a combination
- Leadership and coordination of a team of vetting analysts
- Escalation and support to vetting analysts
- Quality Assurance of completed vetting assessments
- Policy and Review advice
To succeed in the role
- Qualification– Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security)
- Experience in conducting Australian Government national security clearance assessments up to a minimum of NV2 level
- Sound knowledge of the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework, in particular Personnel Security.
- Experience in conducting quality assurance of completed security clearances.
- Appreciation of Confidentiality
- High-level analytical skills
- Strong leadership skills or desire
- Strong attention to detail
- Australian Citizen- ability to obtain and maintain a Security clearance
