Scope & Overall Purpose of the Job:

As the Head of Business Analysis at Team Global Express (TGE), you will lead and manage a team of Business Analysts, both directly and in a matrix fashion for those reporting to other IT teams. Your goal is to create a high-performing and efficient function by developing standards, frameworks, and processes, and by optimizing and upskilling the BA team.

You will motivate and develop your team to deliver on project and BAU activities within the Application POD delivery team and provide Business Analysis output for the portfolio. Engaging with key stakeholders at all levels, you will work collaboratively with IT leadership and wider functions to align with strategic objectives and prioritize projects and programs. You will also utilize your team's expertise to build a connected community of practice and implement effective Business Analysis methods.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Business Analysts, providing coaching, guidance, support, and feedback to improve skills and ensure quality and timely project delivery.
• Champion Business Analysis best practices across TGE project delivery, promoting accountability for sustainable project outcomes.
• Guide Business Analysts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring consistent project methodology and accountabilities.
• Implement and manage a sustainable Business Analysis framework with best practice tools and standards for consistent and efficient delivery.
• Manage and support Supply and Demand across the Business Analyst team and support discussions for POD Business Analysts.
• Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to identify business needs, align understanding, and translate these into business processes and system needs, recommending suitable solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, partners, technology teams, and vendors, fostering strategic partnerships.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders in cross-functional environments to ensure alignment and successful IT project delivery.
• Develop and manage team performance, providing career growth opportunities and ensuring necessary training, resources, and support for success.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Experience: 10+ years in Business Analysis or a related field, with experience leading and managing a team. Experience in large global organizations using in-sourced and out-sourced IT service providers.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, or a related discipline.
• Leadership: Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, guide team members on project deliverables, and manage change in a complex IT environment.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis, requirements gathering, process modeling, and identifying trends.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of project management methodologies, business process modeling, system analysis techniques, SDLC, user experience, quality assurance, and agile/waterfall methodologies.
• Communication: Strong communication and influencing skills, including listening, writing, and presenting ideas effectively. Ability to translate technical environments into business language.
• Strategic Thinking: Clear understanding of organizational goals and objectives, with a passion for using data and insights to improve business decisions.
• Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, influence and negotiate with senior management, and foster strategic partnerships.
• Innovation and Adaptability: Interest in emerging technologies, continuous learning, and innovative approaches to delivering services.
• Personal Attributes: Strong commercial acumen, resilience, and supportiveness in managing change, and a strong advocate for building a service delivery culture within TGE IT.
