Your next opportunityReporting to the Quarry Supervisor, the successful candidate must have a genuine interest in the day-to-day management and challenges of leading a quarry operational team, including assisting with planning, organisation, safety performance, meeting production targets, quality control, and continuous improvement.This is a permanent opportunity offering working days Monday to Friday, 5pm start. Shift Allowance & Overtime rates apply. The successful candidate will be supported by a quarry supervisor and a strong team of production/ plant operators.Your day will involve:
- Ensuring Safety and Environmental compliance and best practice across all activities to assist in achieving our goal of ZERO HARM.
The running of the operations on a day to day basis along with the Quarry Supervisor.Co-ordinate work teams with activities carried out on site.Assist with managing contractors and employees.Conduct inspections and report outcomes to ensure fixed mobile plant maintenance is carried out.Manage stock inventory.Promote, facilitate and initiate Continuous Improvement activities.
What we are looking for:- You will thrive in supporting, organising, and motivating production teams, with previous experience in leading roles in quarry or mining operations.
