Here at Mars Wrigley, we are looking for a Team Leader (Warehouse) to join the MW Supply Team based in Asquith.

Home to many well-known brands such as Skittles, Extra & Eclipse, we are proud to make some of Australia’s most loved confectionery brands.

You will be instrumental in ensuring necessary changes are identified and executed by using your solid operations and warehouse experience to set defined processes and role capabilities, implementing a variety of KPI’s, and driving Associate engagement to name a few.

This is a high-profile role which will see you managing the operations of the warehouse and material handling operations to support the factory in achieving its planned production. You will be accountable for all stock within the Asquith site, and raw materials and packaging materials stored at 3rd party warehouses.

This role will see you working a 9-hour shift between the hours of 6am to 5pm; Monday to Friday, on a 9 day a fortnight (with every second Friday off). As with any critical role of this nature, there may need to be flexibility at times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create OH&S, Food Safety, Environmental Awareness, Production Demands, Associate Engagement & Continuous Improvement KPI’s and ensure Associates are meeting these requirements
• Develop and implement processes within the warehouse which deliver on efficiency, safety, and quality
• Promote High Performance Work teams via engagement activities as well as reward and recognise positive behaviour and coaching to improve opportunities areas
• Drive efficiencies throughout the warehouse to ensure smooth production operation and flow of finished goods to the warehouse

What will you bring to the role?

• Proven experience as a Team Leader, including a good understanding of production processes is extremely advantageous.
• Proven experience in people leadership including coaching and developing others
• Natural ability to forge strong relationships within the immediate team and wider business
• Be the voice for your team and Associates; encourage and support their growth and development

To be successful in this role it is imperative you have clear communication skills and are confident in negotiating conflict resolutions.
