City of Parramatta has an exciting career opportunity to join our Parks & Open Spaces Team as a Team member driver working in our tree team.
About the role
As a Tree Team Member Driver, you will be responsible for delivering a range of horticultural/tree services ensuring Parramatta’s Street trees, parks and open spaces are maintained and improved enhancing the appearance of our great city!

On a daily basis you will:
- Drive and operate Truck for the Parks Services Tree Section
- Plant operation- chippers, stump grinders and small plant.
- Work within the scope of acceptable practices of the Horticulture, Arboriculture
- Undertake tasks as directed and adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
As the Team Member driver, you will be adaptable, have a great attention to detail, be punctual and have excellent communication skills to work collaboratively within the team.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the role, candidates must possess the essential requirements outlined below, be actively pursuing, or demonstrate a willingness to obtain.
- Current NSW MR Truck Drivers Licence- Essential
- White Card- Essential
- Traffic Control Licence- Essential
- Chainsaw Operation Certificate- Essential
This is a Permanent Full-Time position.
- Monday-Friday
- 6:30am-3:00pm
- 38 hours per week
- Monthly rostered day off
This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance & First Aid Allowance.
