About the Region

The South Burnett Region is ideally situated just 2 - 3 hours' drive to Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Fraser Coast. About the role

• Based in Kingaroy
• Permanent Full Time 
• $58K - $60K per annum + Allowances + Super
• This role requires availability for rostered weekend work and
  call-out provisions.

Council is seeking Team Members to assist in the effective and efficient operation, maintenance and construction of Councils Water and Wastewater infrastructure. This position will undertake general labouring duties to construct and repair broken water mains, prepare work sites, lay pipework and install/ replace water meters. The successful applicant will have previous experience performing labouring duties, able to follow directions, hold basic literacy and numeracy skills, and have ability work effectively in a team environment with sound communication skills.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of a current C Class driver’s licence
• General Safety Induction for Construction Worker (White Card)

Desirable Qualifications 

• Truck (MR, HR, HC) licence / Plant Tickets/licences
• Confined Space Entry Ticket

Skills and experience
